Token Chat

Every token page on Thor Exchange has its own chat — a place to talk about that token in real time, right next to the chart and trades.

Reading vs. posting

  • Reading is open to everyone — no wallet or connection required.
  • Posting needs a connected wallet. The first time you post, you’ll be asked for one free signature to sign in — it’s not a transaction, costs no gas, and only proves you own the wallet.

Display names

Section titled “Display names”

Your wallet address is your identity by default. You can optionally claim a display name:

  • A name can only be claimed once per wallet — there’s no changing or clearing it afterward, so pick carefully.
  • Names are globally unique, including against lookalike spellings, so nobody can impersonate an already-claimed name.
  • Once claimed, your messages show your name instead of your address.

Good to know

  • Chat is per token — each token has its own room, scoped to that market.
  • Messages load newest-first, with older history a click away.
  • Keep it on-topic and don’t post anything you wouldn’t want permanently public — chat messages are visible to anyone who opens the page. Full conduct rules live in the Terms of Service.
